Sugababes/Roc Nation dropped the girls!

Watch with that platform, girls! Sugababes are going through sad times with their brand new album soon to be slipping out of UK's top 40 album chart. Following the bad news, it looks like Roc Nation have dropped the girls from their label. They are still on the list of Island's artists. "Sweet 7", their brand new album peaked last week at #14 with just 11 000 copies sold and now it's set to be out of Top 40 on it's second week, doing worse chart-run than The Saturdays who were cruelly labeled as total flop with "Wordshaker".

Sources now say group was quietly dropped by production label Roc Nation last month. Roc Nation made possible for the girls to work with hitmakers like Ne-Yo and RedOne and probably made future promotions in US possible. Roc Nation is reportedly calling Sugababes now as their former clients. Sugababes are apparently still set to release "Crash & Burn" as their next single, hoping it would save this project that seems to just crash and burn.

Discuss.

Crash & Burn as their next single seems terrible. They need to release she's a mess. That will save the album!

yeah, i agree, she's a mess should be a single instead of c&b. i think they should release singles even if the album only reached the top 20. maybe they could score more top 10 hits. and then people would see that the album is very good. considering that rihanna's rated r debuted at #16, and then it began to rise after the release of rude boy, it eventually peaked #9, the girls also have chances to sell lot more albums...why do they have to give up?

they don't need Ne-Yo and RedOne. they need the ones who can make with them music that is UNIQUE.

  8. obviously their album had nothing to do with Roc Nation dropping them since they dropped them last month and the album just came out.

Not sad to see how things evolve. This album really is the worst they ever released.

mmm, let's face it!!1 nothing can save the album
She's a mess could be a nice choice but i think they should forget about clubby and "gaga style songs" and get back to basics, or maybe try a new style
i think a rocky sound would be better, something different and perfect for Amelle Jade and Heidi
so girls, new album please, just take your time and try something different!!! not copy Gaga sound!!!
