So, here you have it. Official cover for "Hush Hush", from Amazon.
It officially sucks, because:
1. Why is the new version called "Hush Hush; Hush Hush"? That's the most stupid song title in years! Why didn't they just call it "Single Version" or something?
2. "Featuring Nicole Scherzinger". Oh well, "Bottle Pop", "When I grow Up" and "I hate this Part" only included Nicole anyway, so will they re-release the album later on with that title too? This won't remove the problem that is the Nicole being pushed to solo artist and soon changing the name PCD straight to Nicole Scherzinger, leaving the girls officially as the irrelevant mute-dancers.
3. That's it. The other Dolls look delicious and the song is amaizing. End of Rant.

Nicole is the main vocalist. The other girls are backup dancers/vocalists. That is what the Pussycat Dolls are. Nicole is a LEAD singer. People need to get over it, I'm sure the other girls knew what they were signing up for.

I think this is the begging of the end of one of the best girl groups ever! Nicole is a freaking part of the group called PUSSYCAT DOLLS! I just hate this! I do hope the other girls will soon get more credit for what they are doing! I mean c'mon, all 5 of them have very good voices!!!
ReplyDeleteMost pop bands have a lead singer that is capable of a successful solo career. For example, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, etc. Nicole is the only one from PCD with name recognition. Most people don't know who the other girls are, but they know of Nicole.
ReplyDeleteEven though I love her I did have a laugh at the post about her being able to make it solo. Did we forget her 4 solo singles which flopped hardcore (3/4 didn't deserve to flop..."Baby Love" should not have existed).
ReplyDeleteWHY bitch about it? I'm glad they're separating her...I recall my rants on the official forum where I bitched about the other girls not singing at all when it was called PCD. I adored the idea of "Nicole Scherzinger and the Pussycat Dolls" name change but the retards on the forum didn't. Now it's even worse, since it's "PCD feat. Nicole" Tragic.
BTW: The title is grammatically incorrect. Then again so was "Don't CHA" and "WHATCHA Think About That".

ReplyDeletethe only reason her singles so-called flopped was because they were not promoted by interscope plus they released 5 singles (not 4)in less than 4 months. whatever u like, baby love, happily never after, super villain and then paukenikeni. had they had enough time to gain momentum and with the proper promotion they would have been massive hits for nicole, had interscope done their job and promoted them,.

ReplyDeletefirst of all alot of peopl know nicole by her name, she does not suck and also she was always the lead singer. she was always supposed to be the lead singer. they are doing the featuring part now to put her in the forefront so that people know she is doing mainly the singing. it's just like when timbaland released the single scream it was timbaland featuring keri hilson & nicole scherzinger because they sang more than timbaland did in the song. just like robbie williams featuring kylie minogue for "kids" or black eyed peas featuring justin timberlake for "where is the love" and so on. if you saw some of the interviews with robin antin the creator of the dolls she says nicole was always supposed to sing the most because she is the lead singer. nicole's solo career will be fine if interscope promotes her properly, her previously singles would have been fine if they weren't rushed like they were. 5 singles in 3 months in not enough time to gain momentum and exposure. interscope didn't promote them with performances or videos plus there is a little unknown fact called "pay for play" that happens at radio stations that is an illegal act that is commonly done and is on the rise. "pay for play" is where a record company or individual who represents an artist / singer will give special treatment / gifts (such as money / free merchanidise, etc.) to radio stations that will play a certain artist or a certain artist's single more than other artist to give them an unfair advantage over the competition so that they can get they song / artist higher in the charts. the more the song gets played the more money is made by the label and the artist. so alot of it has to do with that too. so don't lay it all at nicole's doorstep saying that the reason her solo stuff so-called failed was her fault it is the label. you have to promote an artist, the hits just don't fall out of the sky, u have to promote the hell out of them and if the labels don't do that than they don't get the hits.

ReplyDeleteTHIS DOES make the Dolls look ridicilous and they are losing lots of respect from people with this thing. This also makes Nicole look bad and doesn't help her solo career in future to alienate PCD fans from her.
i really have a feeling that this is gonna be the last album that they release together, if not together this is probably the last album they are gonna release on interscope. they probably realized how interscope has mishandled their career and will most likely part ways.
