On May 26th Christina Aguilera is set to perform at the finale of American Idol as part of her promotional work for "Bionic". While she'll perform her buzz-single "Woohoo" at the MTV Movie Awards in June reportedly, this time around she chose two diffirent tracks. Rumous suggest that she will climb on stage to perform both her first single "Not myself Tonight" and "Fighter", her older single from 2003. She is set to perform her single from "Stripped" with the finalist girls and her brand new single alone on stage.
Also, sources say "Not myself Tonight" video was sent back to studios when the label recieved negative feedback from general public and the reworked, more clean video will be released soon. "Woohoo", her supposed second single isn't officially the next single but actually a promo single sent to Top 40/Rhythmic radio to promote the album, while some of the stations boycott "Not myself Tonight". Damn she is having hard time to make herself succesful this time!
Discuss.
RCA is giving her the hard time to prove her success this time! Who cares about that worldwide flop single that NMT is any more? If they were clever, she would sing You Lost Me or whatever amazing ballad (All I Need, I Am, Birds Of Prey) during the American Idol show.
ReplyDeleteBTW the album has leaked in full by now. I've just been told, I don't own it. There are some studio versions on YT (Lift Me Up and Glam for example).
The album is pure FIRE!!!!
