This post is a little special, inspired by your requests. This special is to celebrate the best and most succesful girlgroups on earth. Unfortunately We couldn't make a slot for every girlgroup there is, but here is guite a few. Hope you all enjoy the post!

Sugababes
Sugababes released their first album on UK in late 2000 after their Top 10 Debut hit-single "Overload", with girls being just in age sixteen. After three more singles, Siobhan Donaghy left the group on their promotion Tour. She was replaced early member of Atomic Kitten, Heidi that was introduced in their next video, "Freak Like Me", that soon became huge #1 hit and they had even more succes after that. After they released three succesful albums and 14 Singles and fourth album just being released, Mutya dropped a bomb and left the group leaving Keisha only orginal member in a group. Suga's soon found Amelle to be the 3rd member, and to join them for their Tour. Amelle re-recorded few songs and they re-released their 4th album with Amelle. They still continued being succesful, eventually releasing their Greatest Hits compilation and 5th album "Change" to represent the new era of Sugababes.

Pussycat Dolls
Robin Antin, American choreographer had an idea of a modern burlesque troupe. That is how the Pussycat Dolls was slowly morphed in late 90's. In 2003, six members formet a Pop-band around the idea. Their first track, "Sway" was featuring in films Shark Tale and Shall We Dance? but year later in 2005, they finally got their first official hit-single "Don't Cha" that soon became a storm hit in US and all over the world. They proved not to be only one-hit-wonders with their succesful debut album "PCD" And with their following hit-singles "Stickwitu", "Wait a Minute", "I Don't need a man","Beep", And with monster-hit "Buttons", they are one of the most succesful girlgroups in the world. After Nicole Scherzinger, the lead singer released few singles that didn't do as well as expected, Nicole delayed her solo album to release group's second album before that. Their second album is set to be released later this year.

TLC
TLC was one of the strongest R&B-Groups on 90´s to late 2000. Their biggest hits "Unpretty" and "No scrubs" were all over the charts on 1999-2000. They have one of the finest R&B/Pop-tunes to dance to, "Girl Talk", "No Scrubs" and beautiful slower tracks, "Dear Lie", "Damaged" and "Turntable". Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, third member of the group had already started work on both her second solo album and on songs for the fourth TLC album, 3D, when she was killed in a car accident in Honduras on 2002.

Monrose
Monrose is succesful German Girlgroup, that was formed in German Popstars-show. Their debut album "Temptation" served few hits, "Shame" and "Even heaven cries". Their second album was released last year with huge summer-hit "Hot Summer", that was hit in Germany, also charting on many european contries becaming their most succesful single. Since then, their Pop/R&B-Driven music has been getting more ears open all over the europe.

Spice Girls
Spice Girls were the biggest girlband in the world! There is no soul in this earth who doesn't know any of their hits, "Wannabe", "2 Become 1", "Say You'll be there", "Who Do You Think You are?", "Spice Up Your Life", "Stop", "Viva Forever" or "Holler". They were all over the place in 90's, but after and during their 3rd album, they even all had their solo singles released. Their solo work has also been succesful in the charts, with all of the member released numberous of singles and albums. Propably the most succesful members, Geri Halliwell (That left the group back in 1998, but returned to the group on their comeback Tour in 2007) and Melanie C sold millions of albums, with Melanie C still being the most active member musically. They returned last year to promote their Greatest Hits (First release as a group since 2000) and their sold-out Return of the Spice Girls- Tour, that showed that they still have very strong fanbase.

Atomic Kitten
UK Girlgroup orginally called Automatic Kittens scored Top 10-hit with their first single "Right Now" on 1999. After that, there was also one member that left the group, Kerry Katona who was replaced by Jenny Frost, re-recording own versions to their album re-release. Since they released hits like "Eternal Flame", "Tide Is High", "Be With You", "The Last Goodbye" and "If You Come to Me" and got succes from all over the europe and Asia. They have been on hiatus for a while as a group, but made a little comeback to release a charity single of "Anyone Who Had a heart" but failed to make an impact and reached just to #77 on UK charts.

Destiny's Child is today the biggest girlgroup there is! They really don't need much introduction with their hits "Bootylicious", "Survivor", "Jumpin Jumpin", "Say My Name", "Independent Women", "Lose My Breath". Grammy-winners Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle went through many changes to became what they are today. All of them have released solo-albums and singles, (All of them have released two albums each now) with Kelly being currently in charts with hers, Beyonce recording her 3rd and Michelle releasing her 3rd album soon. Orginal line-up of All Saints already released single in 1995, but after one member Simone leaving the group, Applenton sisters Nicole and Natalie were added to the group. Their first number one hit, "Never Ever" released in 1997 and also reached to #4 on US Charts and brought the girls positive reaction and succesful start that they soon continued. Since, their Top 10-hits (half of them #1-singles) like, "Bootie Call", "Under the Bridge", "Pure Shores", "Black Coffee" and "All Hooked Up" have made them a true hit-group with millions of records sold. in 2001, the girls were so fed up with each other that they eventually split up, with Greatest Hits "All Hits" following. After members released guite few solo efforts, They released a statement in 2006 that they are back together to continue their career as a group. They released a single "Rocksteady" that was #3 single in UK, but the following single "Chick Fit" and album "Studio 1" flopped. They are now back in the studio to record their next album.
