Heidi Montag/I'll Do it (Next single!)
Posted on 31.10.10 at 6:28 PM.

Better late than never, I guess. Heidi Montag is releasing "I'll Do it" as the next single from her album with music-video. Heidi is taking some tips from The Hustler Strip club for the video, scheduled to be shot next week. "I'll Do it" was produced by Steve Morales and it represents the finest edge of her first album "Superficial". What surprises me, is that she is still pushing out singles but if it's this song, then I don't mind.

Heidi Montag/Summer album is on the way!
Posted on 24.6.10 at 9:23 PM.

Following the debut album, "Superficial" that sold over 3 000 copies, Heidi Montag is returning to music business. So, after nine "supposed first singles" she is about to release the first one from her upcoming effort anytime soon. “Heading into the music studio recording my new single!” Tweeted Heidi. “Steve Morales my music producer moves into my house tomorrow to make my summer album!”

Steve Morales is responsible for some of the best tracks on her debut, "I'll Do It" and "Look how I'm Doing" but also her only charting single, "More is More" that peaked at #27 on Billboard club charts is his work. Personally I think the album had it's moment and I'll look forward to her next effort.

- Heidi Montag sure knows lot about music-business as we've seen with her endless first single-choises and leaving "Body Language" out of the album tracklist. This time, she'll release two new singles (Looks like "Fanatic" was scrapped and the video plans too), new versions of "Sex Ed" and the brilliant Jessie Malakouti-cover "Trash Me" with neither of them being included on the album. Both songs are to be released on February 16th.

- There is rumours all over that Britney Spears version of Lady Gaga's new single "Telephone" leaked, but it's not true. Britney's version haven't leaked just yet, we just have to wait.

- According to new reports, the next single from Lady Gaga won't be neither "Alejandro" or "Monster" previously rumoured singles, it will be "Speechless". To be honest, even though she keeps on performing the song everywhere to the boredom, she won't have #1 single with it. It's a nice album track but nothing more.

- Ne-Yo has revealed that Lindsay Lohan has apparently abandoned a collaboration the pair had planned together. The singer worked with Lohan on her single 'Bossy' and the pair had arranged to team up for some tracks on Lohan's third album. However, Ne-Yo told Poptart that he hasn't heard from the actress since. "We were doing some stuff and then it just fell off and hasn't got back on," he explained. "I'm not gonna hold my breath." Lindsay Lohan has been busy recording songs for her third album.

- Kelly Clarkson will be having 4th single officially but the label is still not sure what to release. Kelly earlier said they'll probably release "If I Can't have You" but now she says they are probably going for "All I ever Wanted", the title track of the album. There is no official confirmation yet, but we keep you posted.

- Rihanna will reportedly release a remix version of her latest "Rated R" album. Remix album, to be released in february is following a similar project from Mariah Carey. Rihanna also released a remix album from her previous album "Good girl gone bad". She's definately up to making club hits from these songs too.

- Heidi Montag will be making her music video debut in her apparently new first single "Fanatic". The video will be directed by Scott Speer, who recently did Ashley Tisdale's "Crank It Up" and the video will be shot next weekend. The video will have a budget of $150,000 which has been provided by Warner Music Group.

- Boyband Blue are still on the studio recording their comeback album. "We have been in the studio. We went back in last year," Duncan James explains. "We went over to New York and recorded with Jay-Z's people, wrote with Ne-Yo and the stuff sounds really different to anything we've done before. It's a lot up tempo, it's a lot dancier. It's fresh. And I think that if we do decide to release an album, then we have to step up again and come out with an album that is not what people expect." The group has no timeline for the album yet, they're taking the time to record as good album as possible.

Heidi Montag/Superficial
Posted on 11.1.10 at 8:59 PM.

We were supposed to do a proper review of Heidi Montag's "Superficial" album, but since it was just released, it's probably best to be left for you to legally purchase it instead. It's not all that bad really! The album includes some tracks that have leaked before, like brilliant "Look how I'm Doing" that ends up being one of the best ones on the album, to really stand out. "I'll Do It" is one of the highlights from the album too, so make sure you'll check it out. "Fanatic" is probably the worst songs from the album unfortunately and it's apparently the next single. Singlewise, the album has been a mess. "Body Language", her best song to date isn't even included on the album, although it's available with "Superficial", the "real" first single on her official site. Hopefully we'll get even one proper music-video from the album, and one proper single.

So overall, we'd say she really has rather well produced voice at it's best and great tracks on the album, that has fillers and better ones as usually records have. It's not earthshakingly good, but it's electric and catchy pop-record that probably most people didn't expect. Heidi Montag wasn't the type of recording artist I thought I'd be listening to, but her material has turned my head around. Listen to the album yourself and tell us what did you think!

- Lady Gaga sure won't lose any time to release another hit-record. "The fame" that has sold over 8 million copies worldwide was released on 2008, while the second album "The Fame Monster" was just released last year and now it's been confirmed that the label is eyeing for third album to be released on late 2010. One hit album every year sounds reasonable for me.

- Rihanna's next single "Rude Boy" will get US release as well, so it's her next worldwide release after "Russian Roulette" and US Single "Hard". "Rude Boy" has it's impact date on US radios pretty soon already, on February 9th.

- Sophie Ellis-Bextor has announced details about the 1st single from her fourth studio album "Another Love". The song is called "Bittersweet", produced by The Freemasons. The song will be released in April but the radio premiere is already on February.

- Heidi Montag's album preview clips have been published, listen the album out in here and check out the new album cover in here! The album is pretty much electric Pop and includes songs we have heard and some pretty good new tracks, but the first single apparently was only a buzz single. We are talking about her best song yet, "Body Language" that is nowhere to be seen on the final tracklist. So if the horribly photoshopped album cover wasn't bad enough to ruin almost good project...

Heidi Montag/Body Language

Are we totally out of our minds for posting this? No. It's the first official single from Heidi Montag, previously known as a cast of The Hills and currently a wife of Spencer Pratt. Enough of the media stuff and the last time mentioning her disguisting husband, but Heidi's first single is actually pretty good. It's called "Body Language" and it doesn't sound like Spencer recorded this himself with a cellphone as her previous songs sounded like or does it sound like a worst vocalist of the world trying to sell music with cheap audio effects and overproduced instrumental. This is actually well produced all the way and it sounds like a hit, even though it will never become one.

Let us call this guilty pleasure, but check out this song! Yes, the sample is the same that The Saturdays used for their first single "If this is Love" but that's where the similarities end. Heidi is also performing on the final of the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant, that will air on 23rd of August.
