Jamelia/New album coming up!

Jamelia, who was scheduled to make a comeback this spring after 2006 album "Walk with Me" that wasn't exactly huge success. Following that, the label dropped her and released Greatest Hits-collection and another collection from her was released last summer. Jamelia promised a single in March, but sources say that she is now finally wrapping the album. She has recorded songs and is still recieving last ones to be on the record. She is rumoured to release the first single later in Fall. The upcoming album will be her 4th studio album.

She is best known from her hits such as "Call Me", "Superstar", "Thank You" and "Beware of the Dog".

Saturday Nights Divas

UK's channel ITV1 aired yesterday night a special gala called 'Saturday Nigts Divas' that included performances by Divas like Celine Dion, Jennifer Lopez and Alicia Keys, Girls Aloud, Natasha Bedingfield, Chaka Khan, Jamelia and X Factor winner Leona Lewis. This special event was to mark the ending of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Jamelia/Left the record company!

This message came from Parlophone today.
"After working together for nearly 10 years, Jamelia and Parlophone Records have made the amicable decision to part company. The label is proud to have worked with Jamelia on some truly great records and wishes her all the best for the future."

Apparently she wanted to leave and will have a fourth album out by the end of the year.
Walk With Me was a very good album, certified Gold and there was three singles released:
Something about you,Beware of the dog and just moments ago released No More that did flop.
The album was great but company did not promote it enough.

Candyman European Maxi-CD single cancelled!
It was set for release in Germany and some other parts of Europe, but now it's cancelled and they are only going with the 2-track CD single. They should at LEAST release the 2-track one in the UK too.
