Jojo and her new video for "In the Dark". The viral video shows up Jojo in few different sets, all in Black and White with a male-actor. Their chemistry is very sensual and passioned and the video reflects the song well. It is orginal, it's edgy enough but sort of gets boring easily too. The lyrics are well included in the video and all, but one thing was such a put off for me throughout the clip. Jojo didn't look great at all, with some bad lighting and cheap video work that didn't do good for her dark makeup and locks. She looked grown, sexy but most of the time, the scenes showed her in raw way, not in the most attractive way. Maybe it's just me?

Jojo's hyped mixtape for the fans called "Can't take that away from Me" was released yesterday. The mixtape has collection of songs that aren't going to be on the album, "All I want is everything" that will be out later on. The mixtape was exclusively released for the fans and it has amazing songs in it. Our favourite currently is "My Time is Money", that pretty much showcases her vocal range and how powerful her voice is. The track is confident, fierce and very catchy one.
Rap-Up has the full mixtape available to download in various of formats and either as a package or track by track with full previews included too. Amazing!

Jojo/(I only know him) In the Dark

Jojo shot a video earlier this year for "(I Only Know Him) in the Dark" but the project got shelved, because the timing wasn't right. Now she has released the song finally and is taking a new direction musically. Mixtape that she'll release on September 7th is called "Can't Take that away from Me" and it's released from tracks that aren't included on the next album that is yet to be released. The song sounds interesting, but quite appealing and does showcase a new Jojo indeed.

-Britney Spears becomes the first artist in over three years to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, to be released tomorrow (Oct. 15), as "3" opens at the pinnacle of the chart. Her new track, a racy paean to the joys of three-way sex from the upcoming hits set "The Singles Collection," due Nov. 24, shifts 255,000 downloads in its first week of release, also propelling it to No. 1 on Digital Songs. "3" is the first title to debut at No. 1 since Taylor Hicks' "American Idol" victory song "Do I Make You Proud" did so on the chart dated July 1, 2006.-Cheryl Cole claims she's 'absolutely terrified' about making her solo singing debut on The X Factor this Sunday. Producers have confirmed the 26-year-old singer will be pre-recording her set so it wouldn't 'interfere' with her judging capabilities. A spokesperson said: "Cheryl will be recording her music performance earlier in the day with a live studio audience to ensure she can fully continue with her judging commitments on The X Factor later that evening." This will be her solo debut live when she performs her first single "Fight for this Love".
-Sources say Beyonce has a plan to release every song from her new album as singles. "Video phone" will be her 8th single with a video clip rumoured to be shot already and a new version to be featuring Lady Gaga in video and on remix. Also, according to rumours "Radio" will be Beyonce's 9th worldwide single and it has already been released in the Netherlands. The video will be released in late 2009 along with "Disappear". The video will be directed by Jake Nava. If you're so lost with counting down the singles, here they are: "Single Ladies", "If I were a boy", "Halo", "Diva", "Ego", "Sweet Dreams" and "Broken-hearted Girl".
-Despite the rumours of Sugababes leaving "Get Sexy", their first single (last one to feature their ex-member Keisha) out of their next album tracklist, our sources say it's not true. In fact, they are recording some totally new tracks to the new album with Jade and leaving some songs out from the tracklist, with every song re-recorded with Jade. "Get Sexy" might appear as bonus track in the album, but it'll remain in the tracklist.
-After having her trouble with the label, Jojo is finally set to release her next album under a new contract and according to sources, she's preparing to release it sooner than expected! She is mad over certain leaked songs but there won't be change in plans to provide her fans new music in near future.

-According to MTV.com, the re-release of Lady GaGa's debut album called The Fame Monster will be released on November 24th and will include two discs. The same source also confirmed the date for Britney Spears Singles Collection being October 27th.-Madonna seems to be #1 already in some countries with "Celebrate" but UK's Radio 1 has snubbed the Queen's single out from their playlist. Maybe the biggest UK Radio station haven't added the song to either of the three lists and this might affect on her sales in UK. Although Madonna will sell anything under her name anyway.
-Jojo, American singer is finally old enough to file a lawsuit and now she's already filing her first lawsuit against her record company. In a lawsuit just filed in NYC courts, JoJo claims her record company shoved her into a musical "limbo" because they wont let her out of her contract -- and they won't let her record a new album either! JoJo now wants a judge to force Da Family Entertainment to cut her loose, plus she wants at least $500,000 for her troubles.
-Foreigner’s Mick Jones can start ordering caviar and Champagne again: Mariah Carey is releasing her own gospel-tinged version of his masterwork song, “I Want to Know What Love Is.” It’s the first “real” single from her new album following the summer release of the witty “Obsessed,” which is also included on “Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.” The album and the single hit the world on Sept. 29th.

If the Spice Girls fans feel the end of the tour came too suddenly, at least some of them can now relax, as they have plans as a solo artists. Three of the five girls are planning a next record. Melanie B has confirmed she is recording her 3rd solo album, a follow up for "Hot" and "LA State of Mind". She has described the album to be her way back to the roots, back to R&B that she is famous of and what she does the best. Her urban pop-record is still in early state of recordings, but she has confirmed that one of the producers behind the album is Rodney Jerkins(Darkchild), who previously worked with all of the Spice Girls with their 3rd album "Forever".Melanie C, Currently the most active member as a solo artist is preparing a tour in Canada to promote her "This Time" album, released in Canada. She recently confessed plans for next record, "I get the feeling that my next record is going to be a bit tougher again." But she is writing a new album, so any predictions are too early. Latest reports also say that Emma Bunton wrote songs on the Spice Girls tour and is now considering releasing another solo album.
Lindsay Lohan-fans can expect to hear her new single on the radio in the next fewmonths, insider of the star confirms. “She already has four songs completed. It’ll be a fall release and they’re looking to sneak a single to radio this summer,” a source close to Lohan tells PEOPLE.
Reports claimed Lohan blew off several meetings with Grammy-winning producer Timbaland, but the source close to Lohan says she’s hard at work on the album and denies the meetings were ever set up, “though Lindsay would love to work with him,” the source adds. A rep for Timbaland confirms that he was never scheduled to work with Lohan. A Universal Music Group spokesman told PEOPLE in a statement: “Recent reports about Lindsay Lohan and the status of her upcoming album are completely and factually untrue. What is true is that she continues to be extremely focused and hard at work on the project. And as a company, we are looking forward to releasing the album when she is done.”
If that wasn't enough, Lindsay's sister Ali Lohan is in the studio recording an album. She has confirmed the album to be urban-pop, the music she likes to listen right now. Ironic or not, her sister Lindsay has a urban-pop record coming up too.

She also said she is working with Timbaland, Polow da Don, and DJ Toomp. There is loads of new records coming up later this year, Sophie-ellis bextor has confirmed that she has plans to release her 4th album before greatest hits. All Saints, Pussycat Dolls, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Beyonce, Michelle Williams, Brandy, Christina Aguilera, Hilary Duff, Marie Serneholt, Ashley Tisdale, Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson, Missy Elliott, t.A.T.u, Vanessa Hudgens and Tweet have all been confirmed to having records out soon, most of them this year.

New Albums in 2008!

This is the post to publish the status of some of the interesting releases rumoured or confirmed to be happening on this year. Some of in early stage, some of coming soon.-Nicole Scherzinger has pushed her debut album back since November 2007.Latest UK Release date was supposed to be in June, but now they added question mark on that too. She said in one of her latest interviews that she is happy about the delay, it gives her more time to prepare better album to her fans. Rumours are that she is about to release next single in March, but she wants to keep her plans private. We keep you posted.
- Christina Aguilera has announced to People magazine that she will star recordings for her next album in March. She will be doing most of the work in a recording studio inside of her new house. She wants to do something fresh and new with this new record, that is rumoured to be ready by the end of the 2008.
-There is hype around Madonna's new album already. Nate "Danja" Hills and Timbaland, who have produced new songs for Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado, are co-producing few tracks to her forthcoming album. Danja describes the record as Very upbeat and urban Pop. Her album will contain elements from Hip-Hop,Pop and R&B. "It'll be a classic album." Timbaland and Justin Timberlake will appear in the video and song for first single "4 Minutes to Save the World." Yet Untitled album is rumoured to be released in April and "4 Minutes to Save The World" will be released in late March.
-Jojo is also recording her new, 3rd Album. She reports on her Myspace: "I am in the process of recording my third album, presently. I hope to have it out this fall, but I will be releasing a single before then. I have written alot of new music and I am so excited to share my words, melodies, thoughts and feelings with you. "
-Other artists preparing for the new album are Beyonce, Hilary Duff, Fergie, Missy Elliott, Rihanna, Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Simpson, Lindsay Lohan, Brandy, Black Eyed peas, Dido and albums that will be released soon come from Ashlee Simpson, Mariah Carey, t.A.T.u and Janet.

Britney Spears is cleaning her act.Its been awhile from latest drama and she has just been with her kids and kept her head low.Pictures above are from OK! Magazine-shoot from this last summer that leaked today. Credit of the pictures go to Mark Liddell, and where was that "Shocking" horrible shoot?These pictures look great. Meanwhile "Blackout" is currently still #1 in US with 247,304 units sold. This album has really shot her back to the business.She is on top spots all over the world. Next single "Break the Ice" will be released with music video in next few months.
And then to some good and bad news about dropping from record label.Streamline, New team working to Interscope signed apop singer JoJo. JoJo, that suffered from poor marketing with her previous album "The High Road" is about to start work on her next album in January. Diffirences with Blackground, previous label of hers started on early state of promotion when the album was released. More drama happened during the release of her second single in Europe, "Anything" when label refused to make a video for the song after "How to Touch a girl", 2nd US Single flopped. Due the single being released without a promotional video clip, the song started as minor hit and slowly faided into flop. Now JoJo is on Interscope/Streamline, preparing for the 3rd album.
Kelis has been dropped from her label awhile ago. The R&B singer's 2003 album, Tasty, yielded the massive hit "Milkshake," and was certified gold, but Kelis' most recent effort, 2006's Kelis Was Here, had less success in the U.S."It was a case of being in the ever-shrinking world of the record industry and finding herself on a label she wasn't signed to and without a champion," says Kelis' manager, Jeff Rabhan. "She's a different kind of artist — very image and style-driven. It's either something you get or you don't."
But good news are that Kelis has been working on an indie dance record with Cee-Lo. A full-on pop effort with Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams) will be shopped around soon.

JoJo/Coming For You(Next UK Single)

Now it is Confirmed that JoJo's "Coming For You" will be her new single in UK and in Europe. No word have been given about the video for the single, but after her previous, 3rd Single "Anything" video did not appear after management freezed the project in the beggining and the Single reached only minor succes in some countries and overall flopped.She is making gorgeous music but because of crap record company, she is not getting attention she needs.

The big story behind Jojo´s Never released music video for "Anything". The JoJo UK street team had launched a competition for fans to make their own video for "Anything" that would appear on the enhanced CD when the single was released. The competition was won by Joao Vasconcelos. After this, fans believed it would be a budget video.
On May 5 JoJo posted on her MySpace page that the video was not completed and that she had asked Blackground Records to facilitate the production process with her and her management. Four days later it was announced via e-mail that member "TheHighRoad" won the video mission and his video would be placed on the official website, but fans who wanted to watch it would have to buy the CD because it "unlocks" the video. This may lead to a lack of promotion for the single which may affect the song's chart positions and it's overall performance as a single.
Weird and Unfortunate.This song was supposed be a hit.
It turned out to be a medium hit in europe some countries but other than that the chart run of the song is very over.Sad.Her management should die.

Its been annouced that Pop queen Madonna is gonna be releasing a song to support Live Earth, called "Hey You" produced by Pharrell, apparently in a week we'll her it fully.
I Hope this is not too quickly done and the album will be full of hits,not full of fillers.
Popjustice did this quote from JoJo's MySpace/online journal where she said she's nagging her record company for a lack of video for Anything. Since it's released soon and there is no
video for the song,it might strongly effect the sales.The song could be big hit if her record company would agree on making the video for this song.We will keep you posted!
These news about Clive Davis and Kelly having a fight over releasing this album is true. "This time everybody made a big deal about the label and I disagreeing with the record, but that's happened every record," she said. "This is just the only one people know about, so there's nothing new." Clarkson said she's always been willing to stand up for her music, explaining, "I've never once compromised myself. I don't think you should; that's when you start to lose fans and credibility. I think you definitely need to keep doing what you love, because I'm the one that needs to sing it every night."
But Kelly Clarkson's new album “My December” got pushed forward one month,because of the fans excitement over it.Now the official release date is now June 26th. After all these rumors of Clive Davis Scrapping her new album,this is fact.

Benny Boom directed the video that JoJo describes as being the most mature she has ever made. The lead male was cast by the director. Laurie Ann Gibson returns to choreograph the dance sequence that happens midway through the video. Though there will be scenes that reflect the maturity in the lyrics, it will remain largely innocent. JoJo commented that there will be a romantic shower scene however she will be keeping her clothes on.
"There will not be any nipples, I am fully clothed. My jean shorts and my shirt are tight but you can't see anything underneath, even with the water coming down on me.
The beauty of us in the shower is me and my guy exploring each other. It has alot to do with the playful nature of the lyrics. We go on a rendezvous, we explore places we have never been before together.
It is just carefree, innocent fun, so we're fooling around but that's absolutely where it ends. I wanted this video to depict that side of a relationship; when you are holding him and you feel connected. When you feel like the love is so strong that you can't stay away and nothing will tear you apart."
Sounds sexy and cool.Now we just have to wait.
